Father's Day - June 16th

Okay for this week. We drove to transfers again this past week. It was good. We slept at the mission home again. Elder Rako and I both had a chance to interview with President Omer again. It was so nice. He is such an amazing man. I am going to miss him. But I am excited for President and Sister Dunn to get here. Sounds like the farewell was pretty great. Wow. This is getting off topic. Anyway. Transfers. It was great to see people I saw Elder Roybal. He was in my MTC group. I really like him. He's from California. Like fifteen minutes outside of Oceanside! Where we stay all the time! (Well the past couple of times we have been there) Anyway. I also got to talk to Elder Wilkinson again. Which is always nice. Want to hear something funny though? So you know how I had the Zone Leader, and the whole awkward hug experience. Well he is now Elder Wilkinson's companion! Haha! So funny!

Okay. Here is something I always love. So Elder Brackett got his backpack stolen as well. He had all of his previous areas and peoples contacts from those areas stolen. So we got permission to go see a couple of them on our way to transfers. Anyway. People guessed that I was European. And were like amazed when I told them that I wasn't! haha! So yeah. I'm pretty cool that way. I mean, I don't know why I find that cool, but I do.

Let's see. What else. So Elder Brackett got his new companion. His name is Elder McClellan. He is from Washington. I think Sister Hunt, Elder Rako and I are all sitting here trying to remember. But I am pretty sure that is where he is from. 

 

So here is some interesting side news. So the black people love white Americans. I have had some interesting experiences with that. Some marriage proposals. From Peace's sister Thandeka. She is kind of crazy. But it's funny. Anyway. But I have also gotten marriage proposals from the boys for Rachel! Haha! They all ask if I have a little sister and say that they are going to marry her. So watch out Rach! You have people all the way around the world that want to date you! Haha!

Let's see. I don't think much else has happened. We get to go meet the Dunn's on July Second. So we will be driving up for that. I am excited. So I will get the stuff from Brother Davies then or our Zone Leaders are coming down here on the Twenty Seventh. So I will honestly probably get it then. But I am very excited and grateful for that!

Hmm. Well I don't have much more news. But I love you so much! I miss you like crazy! But I know I am doing to right thing. And it is also nice that the time is going by pretty quick. I mean, I love it here. But I miss my amazing family! I love you more than I can describe!
